Time for tea!

Afternoon tea

Can you think of anything better than a big, hot cup of tea? Whether you call it a cuppa or a brew, there are few things in the world that could ever compare. Over here at Roman Blinds Direct, we’re devout tea drinkers, and since we’re also big fans of cool and quirky home design, we couldn’t help but share a post of tea-related decor ideas.

If you’re a brew lover who’s also got a penchant for interior design, you’re going to love what we’re about to show you…

#1 – Store your stuff in cups

Tea cup shelves

There’s something Alice in Wonderland about this jaunty tower of oversized teacups. Putting the ‘fun’ into ‘function’, it makes the perfect shelving unit, neatly storing away magazines, books, CDs, and pretty much anything else. This stack of teacups is also totally child friendly – a must-have for all tea lovers!

# 2 – Off-the-wall afternoon tea

Tea Party Wallpaper

We understand this wallpaper might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but if you’re a fan of all things cute and quirky, it’s a great design for a statement wall in the bedroom. Kitsch but not gaudy, the pale pinstripe background makes it perfect for a pastel themed space.

 #3 – Teapot tidy

This is a bit of a potty idea, but we like it all the same! Who would have thought a little teapot could make such fabulous jewellery rack, flower pot and paintbrush storage? Ideal for sweet, vintage-style room, these little pots are a must for all girly girls! Even if left to stand empty, they’d still look fabulous.

#4 – A blinding tea party

Of course, we can’t forget our favourite home goods – Roman blinds! We have a fantastic selection of tea-themed products, from the Fryetts Teatime blind to the funky Prestigious Cups & Saucers blind. Our all-time favourite, however, is this Prestigious Afternoon Tea blind. We love the sketchy design and pops of colour, along with intricate details that have gone into the floral teacups and tiered cake stand.
