Cushions for kids

Don’t be misled by the name Roman Blinds Direct – of course, we create the perfect bespoke blinds for your home, but we also stock a vast array of other products, including cushions in many different colours and designs.

We have a particular soft spot for our range of Kids’ Cushions range. Cushions are a great way to enhance a child’s bedroom, as well as adding some extra cosiness. The nature of cushions also means they’re super safe and robust for kids to use, unlike other types of furnishings and ornaments.

We’ve discovered a variety of children’s cushions that enhance spaces. Which would your child like best?

1. Owl Be Yours

This sweet bedroom is completed by owl-shaped cushions, along with a gorgeous, appliquéd, stag print pillow. These cute pieces are the finishing touch for this style of room; the combination of wicker and wood, along with paper lantern fairy lights and a statement rug make for a space that’s perfect for little girls. If your little one loves owls, why not transform their bedroom into a menagerie by choosing a Prestigious Ollie Owl cushion? We also stock a matching Roman blind in the same print. It’s a wise choice!

2. Ahoy There!

Is your little boy a budding sailor? Maritime themes are big this season, combining the classic colour combo of navy and white with stripy prints and wooden features. If you want to add another piece of sailor fun to a nautical space, why not try our Prestigious Purbeck Nautical cushion? This design evokes a truly British feel with its line-up of quirky beach huts, and the mixture of blues and reds make it the perfect cushion for a boy’s bedroom.

3. Magic Garden

This bedroom is ideal for teenage girls. There’s a real outdoorsy feel to this space with the neutral zebra print rug and tree wall decal, however it remains perfectly pretty with its pink curtains and white chandelier. We think the Prestigious Lapwing Lane Chintz cushion would be the finishing touch in this bedroom – the cute, pastel birds match up beautifully with the rest of the furnishings, and would look fantastic propped up amongst the other selection of cushions.

4. Circus Fun

This bedroom bursts with fun! Bright bunting, rainbow stripes and an adorable monkey print make for a space that wouldn’t look amiss in a circus. We also adore the colourful space saving techniques – the perfect solution for a child with too many toys! For this type of bedroom, we recommend a cushion like the Prestigious Flying High design, which would fit in perfectly with the other furnishings. You can’t go wrong with animals in hot air balloons, after all!

Have you brightened up your own child’s bedroom with some cleverly selected cushions? We’d love to see – tweet us the images to @InteriorGoods or drop by our Facebook page to share.
