Win a signed rugby ball, save Tiny Lives
Many of you may or may not know that Roman Blinds Direct is one of nine websites which fall under the umbrella company of Interior Goods Direct.
We are serious lovers of sport here, and we want to see as many young people grow up to enjoy it as possible, not to mention the lucky few who are given the chance to turn their passion for sports into their career.
That’s why, for the duration of the 2015 Rugby World Cup, we are running a competition across our sites, with the aim of raising as much money as possible for the Tiny Lives Fund. Tiny Lives is a Newcastle-based charity, which works to support premature and sick newborn babies, as well as their families on the Neonatal Unit at the RVI Hospital in Newcastle.
During the World Cup, all our customers will be given the opportunity to donate to this very worthy charity once they have confirmed their order details on our websites. All those who choose to donate will be automatically entered into a competition to win a one-of-a-kind rugby ball, which has been covered with four of our own fabrics. Did we mention that it has also been hand signed by the absolute rugby legend that is Jonny Wilkinson?
Sir Jonny, a patron of Tiny Lives, was only too pleased to sign the ball for us. The former-England player started his rugby career playing for the Newcastle School of Rugby, before going on to play for the Newcastle Falcons, so he naturally has a fondness for the North East.
At the online checkout, customers will be given the option to donate £1 to Tiny Lives to be in with a chance of winning the ball. For every £1 that is donated, we will match it, and donate an extra £500 to the charity if England win the final.
