Roman Blinds Direct syringe driver bags

It’s been well-publicized that our staff have been working hard creating syringe driver bags for palliative care patients.

These bags have been donated to hospices and worthy organisations throughout the country, including Macmillan and a huge number of Sue Ryder hospices. Staff from departments all over Roman Blinds Direct have given up their free time, even coming in at weekends, to create these bags from the very same fabric we manufacture all our beautiful curtains and roman blinds from.

Well… we are pleased to announce that, this week, we have hit our target of creating a staggering 5,000 bags!

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful staff for their endless hard work and devotion to this cause, which we feel very passionate about. We would also like to express our gratitude to the non-profit organisation, Making For Charity, who spearheaded this brilliant idea.

There are still over 50 bags at our facility in Grange Moor, West Yorkshire, so if you are associated with, or know of a cause that could benefit from these bags, please don’t hesitate to leave us a comment with the details!

This is far from the end of our charity campaigns. We sometimes have as much as 80 metres’ worth of excess fabric a week, and we have plenty of initiatives up our sleeves to utilise this fabric to aid more good causes. Watch this space…
