Roald Dahl Cushions Giveaway

Today, we are celebrating the hundredth birthday of one of the most-loved children’s authors of all time by offering an exclusive and one-off competition!

Ever since his first book, The Gremlins, was published in 1943, Roald Dahl’s work has touched millions and millions of people, worldwide. His literature legacy has inspired countless writers and given generations of people a lasting love of reading. In his lifetime, he wrote 19 novels including classics like Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach and The Twits, just to name a few. Many of these have also gone on to become classic films and musicals.

Our Ashley Wilde collection of roman blinds and curtains has been on our site since the start of this year. This collection features actual illustrations from Roald Dahl’s books, drawn by the iconic Quentin Blake. To celebrate Roald Dahl Day, we are giving five lucky people the chance to win a cushion, printed in the Ashley Wilde fabric of their choice.

These quaint cushions are perfect for children’s bedrooms, encouraging them to pick up the book that the image is taken from and discover the story for themselves. Similarly, they are also wonderfully nostalgic accessories for adults who cherished Dahl’s work in their own childhood.
