Last week we witnessed the first snow of the season over here at IGD HQ, and it certainly got us in the festive mood! Of course, we’ve still got a while to go until the big day, and while the Christmas tunes won’t be switched on for a few more weeks, there’s still a merry buzz in the air as our team gets ready for the busy pre-Christmas period.

This season we’re very excited about one of our newest products, our Bundles of Fun, which we launched earlier in the year to offer crafters, quilters and kids alike the opportunity to create handmade items out of high-end fabrics. We treated some very lucky bloggers and students to a first peek into these fantastic fabric bundles, and the response was incredible. Find out what people think of our Bundles of Fun, here, here and here.

Now that Christmas is just around the corner, it is the perfect time for you to invest in a Bundle of Fun. The fabulous range of designer fabrics will be perfect for crafting your very own Christmas decorations, or making some extra special presents. You could even gift a Bundle of Fun to a crafty family member – with around 4kg of gorgeous offcuts inside, they’re sure to be pleased!

To offer you some ideas about the items you can make with a Bundle of Fun, we’ve created a Christmas Crafts board on Pinterest. From funky fabric wreaths to sweet and stylish stockings, from cute Christmas cushions to trendy tree decorations, our Pinterest board has you covered when it comes to creative Christmas crafts. Check it out below, and be sure to follow us to be kept up to date with all our pins.

If you’re planning on making your own baubles this year, you should also take a look at our video tutorial, where we show you how to make your very own bespoke baubles out of fabric, polystyrene balls and bobbles. It’s super simple and oh-so effective, watch now to find out more!
