Rose Quartz

We are incredibly excited about our new Spring – Summer Collection, which features an eclectic and vibrant colour scheme. The ten tones that make up Pantone’s spring palette are soothing and uplifting shades, ranging from fiery Fiestas to tranquil Limpet Shells, and over the coming weeks we will be introducing each one to you in turn.

Putting the spotlight on a different tone every single week, we will show you how to best use these shades within your home, and giving you expert advice on how you can incorporate other tones and colours to achieve your dream atmosphere, whether you are looking for quirky or classic.

The premier colour specialists, Pantone named Rose Quartz as one of their Colours of 2016, and we can think of no better tone to kick off our showcase series than this gorgeous shade of pastel pink.

A large stroke of Lilac Grey further complements the calmness, adding a soothing touch to any room, as does the aquatic tone of Limpet Shell.

Copper accessories, such as candle holders and vases, are small vintage touches which make a big difference, completing a truly classic decor.

To add a quirky dimension to your interior, a light, fruity injection of Peach Echo has a resounding effect, as does Snorkel Blue if you are looking for a bolder tone of blue.

ROOM SET

Pantone has broken the mould this year by picking two Colours of the Year for 2016, with Serenity sharing the honour with Rose Quartz, and the two colours combined create a wonderfully calm and tranquil atmosphere. Despite the soothing aura that is generated, the combination of these blue and pink shades is nonetheless a bold, anarchic statement in a room, challenging the traditional gender stereotype that blue is for a boy and pink is for a girl. Rose Quartz and Serenity blur the gender lines to make a postmodern decor with real character. Refresh your rooms by incorporating these gorgeous shades into your home decorating ideas – they’re guaranteed to make you and your space feel cool, calm and collected.
