Craft a Noon: Fabric Bookmarks

Happy World Book Day! We’ve been getting creative here at Roman Blinds Direct, yet again, in honour of this special day.

Thanks to our spectacular seamstresses being able to manufacture over 100 quality roman blinds and curtains every single day, we are always left with plenty of excess fabric, which would otherwise go to waste. This time around, we chose to turn our off-cuts into the very first edition of Roman Blinds Direct’s ‘Craft a Noon’!

In keeping with World Book Day, we decided to try our hands at creating unique fabric bookmarks, and the results were really quite brilliant, as you can see for yourself in the above photo. Inevitably, something so stylish and artistic must be nearly impossible to make… not at all! In fact, we have just sent six starter packs to a local school so that the children there can be introduced to the wonderfully artistic and fun world of textiles. These starter packs included a brilliant array of fabric, as well as the infographic below, which shows you exactly how to create the bookmark.
